The $106.00 Dollar Jam

You've heard of the 6Million dollar man?
Now you're about to hear about the $106.00 dollar Jam..
While at family camp this year... we stayed for the food auction at the end of the weekend. Thinking we'd get a good bargin on several items...
and we did,
my hubby thought he'd be funny.
Sherri Bilda was generously "upping" the bidding on the home made choke cherry jam so Ross Haven could have more funding for the camp...
but as the $100.00 mark came up.. she stopped putting up her hand. Greg Nickel thought it'd be funny to sneak behind her and raise his hand (pretending it was hers). Greg Ross called him on it and "sold" it then and there ...
so without much rejoicing... we paid $106.00 for one jar of jam. I just want to go on record saying I purchased:
6 cans of various items
a bag of apples
4 cake mixes
and various smaller items
for UNDER $12.00 CDN.
